At Windows Server 2003

Copy the setup folder in C drive. E.g. C:/>Symantec. Share this folder and give the permission as Full Control.

Double Click the folder Symantec and create a new file named Symantec.txt inside this folder.

Open the file and Type the following in the Symantec.txt file.
[Application]
FriendlyName=Symantec
SetupCommand=setup.exe

Open the Administrative Tools Active Directory Users and Computers,

Create a new Organisational Unit named Rajput007.

Expand the Users Object and right click on the Administrator. Click Copy and create a user named fateh and password as p@ssw0rd.

Right click on fateh, select All Tasks and click Move. Select the Rajput007 OU.

Right Click on the Rajput007 OU, click Properties, select Group Policy Tab.

Click <New>, Rename the policy as Symantec.

Double click on the group policy object; a new group policy window will appear.

Under the User Configuration, expand Software Settings.

Right Click on Software Installation, Click <New> <Package>.

Select My Network Places, Double Click Entire Network, Double Click Microsoft Windows Network, Select the appropriate Domain and Computer. Double click the Symantec folder.

At the bottom of the Open window, select the Files of type and choose “ZAW Domain-level application packages (*.zap)”.

Select the file Symantec.zap and click Open.

Click <OK> and again <OK> if prompted.
At Windows XP Client

Login to the Windows XP Client as user rajput and password p@ssw0rd.

From the Control Panel, Double Click Add/Remove Programs. A new window Add or Remove Program will appear.

At the left side of the Add or Remove Program, Select Add New Programs.

Select the Symantec and Click on Add. A new window explorer will appear and Double Click the Setup file i.e. setup.exe. This will continue to setup your Symantec software.
