1. Copy the setup folder in C drive. E.g. C:/>Symantec. Share this folder and give the permission as Full Control.

2. Double Click the folder Symantec and create a new file named Symantec.txt inside this folder.

3. Open the file and Type the following in the Symantec.txt file.

1. Open the Administrative Tools  Active Directory Users and Computers,

2. Create a new Organisational Unit named Rajput007.

3. Expand the Users Object and right click on the Administrator. Click Copy and create a user named fateh and password as p@ssw0rd.

4. Right click on fateh, select All Tasks and click Move. Select the Rajput007 OU.

5. Right Click on the Rajput007 OU, click Properties, select Group Policy Tab.

6. Click <New>, Rename the policy as Symantec.

7. Double click on the group policy object; a new group policy window will appear.

8. Under the User Configuration, expand Software Settings.

9. Right Click on Software Installation, Click <New>  <Package>.

10. Select My Network Places, Double Click Entire Network, Double Click Microsoft Windows Network, Select the appropriate Domain and Computer. Double click the Symantec folder.

11. At the bottom of the Open window, select the Files of type and choose “ZAW Domain-level application packages (*.zap)”.

12. Select the file Symantec.zap and click Open.

13. Click <OK> and again <OK> if prompted.

At Windows XP Client

1. Login to the Windows XP Client as user rajput and password p@ssw0rd.

2. From the Control Panel, Double Click Add/Remove Programs. A new window Add or Remove Program will appear.

3. At the left side of the Add or Remove Program, Select Add New Programs.

4. Select the Symantec and Click on Add. A new window explorer will appear and Double Click the Setup file i.e. setup.exe. This will continue to setup your Symantec software.

Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) permits you to map multiple Web sites with the same port number to a single IP address by using a feature called Host Header Names. By assigning a unique host header name to each Web site, this feature permits you to map more than one Web site to an IP address.

Configure Web Sites by Using Host Header Names

To configure Web sites by using the Host Header Names feature, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Information Services.
2. Expand * server name (where server name is the name of the server), and then expand Web Sites.
3. Right-click the Web site that you want, and then click Properties.

The Web site name Properties dialog box appears (where Web site name is the name of the Web site that you selected).
4. Click the Web Site tab, and then in the IP Address list, select the IP address that you want assigned to this Web site.
5. Click Advanced.
6. Under Multiple identities for this Web Site, click the IP address, and then click Edit.

The Advanced Web Site Identification dialog box appears.
7. In the Host Header Name box, type the host header that you want. For example, type www.example1.com. Add the port number, select the IP address in the list, and then click OK.

NOTE: If you want to configure this Web site with additional identities, click Add. Use the same IP address and TCP port, but enter a unique Host Header Name, and then click OK. For example, if you want to access the same Web site from both the Internet and a local intranet, you can configure the Web site identity in the manner shown in the following example:

8. In the Advanced Multiple Web Site Configuration dialog box, click OK.
9. In the Web site name Properties dialog box, click OK.

You return to the IIS window.
10. Right-click the next Web site that you want, and then click Properties.
11. In the IP Address list, select the same IP address that you selected in step 4, and then click Advanced.
12. Under Multiple identities for this Web Site, click the IP address, and then click Edit.

The Advanced Web Site Identification dialog box appears.
13. In the Host Header Name box, type a unique host header for this Web site. For example, type www.example2.com, add the port number, select the IP     address in the list, and then click OK.
14. In the Advanced Multiple Web Site Configuration dialog box, click OK.
15. In the Web site name Properties dialog box, click OK.

You return to the IIS window.
16. Repeat steps 10 through 15 for each Web site that you want hosted on this IP address.
17. Register the host header names with the appropriate name resolution system — for example, a Domain Name System (DNS) server or, in the case of a small network, a Hosts file. To do this follows the following Steps.
a.    Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click DNS.
b.    Expand * server name (where server name is the name of the server), and then expand Forward Lookup Zones.
c.    Right click the Forward Lookup Zones and Select New Zone. A New Zone Wizard will appear.
d.    Click <Next>->Primary Zone<Next> -><Next>Zone Name (example1.com or www.example1.com) (Host Header Name) -><Next>-><Finish>
e.    Right Click your Server Domain (e.g. dewendra.com.np), select New Host (A)… , Give the name example1.com (Host Header Name) and the ip address of your server.
f.    Click <Add Host>-><OK>-><Done>
The Web sites are now configured to accept incoming Web requests, based on their host header names.

RIS Server must be the part of Domain.
DNS and DHCP must be configured.
Create a NTFS Partition of minimum 2GB.
Go to Add/Remove Programs-> Add/Remove Windows Components -> Check Install Remote Installation Service.
Insert the Product CD of MS Windows XP Professional.
Go to Admin Tools-> Remote Installation Service -> and configure it to create an OS image of the Windows XP.

a. Creating the Remote Installation folder
b. Copying files needed by the services
c. Copying windows installation files
d. Updating Client installation wizard screen files
e. Creating unattended Setup answer file
f. Starting the required RIS

Exercise 1 – Installing DHCP

1. At Windows Server 2003 B: Login as an administrator.
2. Insert your product CD.
3. Open Control Panel, choose Add/Remove Programs and select Add/Remove Windows Components.
4. Locate networking services and click <details>
5. Click the ‘Dynamic …(DHCP)’ and click <OK> and then <next>
6. Files copy. If you are prompted, specify an appropriate source file location.
7. When prompted, click <finish>

Exercise 2 – Creating a Scope and Assigning Options

1. At Windows Server 2003 B: Open the DHCP tool from Administrative tools.
2. Right click your server and choose new scope.
3. A wizard starts. Click <next>
4. Enter a name and description for your scope to allow you to identify it later.
5.  Click <next> to continue.
6. Enter the following start and end addresses : 10.2.0.10 through to 10.2.0.254
7. In the length box, type 24, and notice how the subnet mask updates.
8. Click <next>
9. There are no exclusions to enter, so click <next>
10. Enter a lese duration of 3 days and click <next>
11. Choose ‘yes’ and click <next>
12. Enter the gateway address for your subnet (10.2.0.1) and click <add> And then <next>
13. Type ‘dewendra.com.np’ in the parent domain box, and click <next>
14. Don’t enter any WINS information. Click <next>
15. Say <yes> to scope activation and click <next>

Exercise 3 – Creating a Reservation

1. At Windows Server 2003 B: Expand your server, and expand your scope.
2. Locate the ‘reservations’ folder, and right click it and choose new reservation.
3. Enter your Windows Server 2003 computer name in the reservation name box.
4. Enter an IP address from the scope (e.g. 10.2.0.11) and enter your Windows Server 2003 server’s 12 digit MAC address (with no hyphens). If you don’t know this, ping your Windows Server 2003  server interface (by IP address) now and view your arp cache (arp -g).
5. Enter the description of ‘my server reserved address.
6. Click <add>
7. Click <close>
8. Locate the address leases folder and observe the reservations.
9. Close all open dialogs

Exercise 4 – Testing DHCP

1. At Windows Server 2003: Open the TCP/IP property sheet for the Local Area Connection network interface, and configure it to obtain an IP address automatically.
2. Open a command prompt and verify the address you have obtained.
3. At Windows Server 2003 B: From the DHCP tool, locate the address leases folder and observe the reservations.
4. If the Windows Server 2003  serve doesn’t obtain the leased address at first, release the address, then renew the address.

Exercise 5 – Adding the DHCP Relay Agent

1. At Windows Server 2003 B: Open Admin Tools/Services and stop the DHCP server service on your computer. Ensure startup is set to disabled.
2. Open the Routing and Remote Access tool.
3. Right click the server in the hierarchy and choose Configure and enable.
4. Click <next>
5. Choose custom and click <next>
6. Choose LAN routing and click <next>
7. Click <finish>
8. Click <yes>
9. Click in the general folder in IP routing and then right click the folder choosing new routing protocol.
10. Choose DHCP Relay agent and click <OK>
11. Right click the agent and choose properties.
12. Enter IP address 10.0.0.1 and click <add> and <OK>
13. Right click the DHCP Relay Agent and choose new interface.
14. Choose public and click <OK>
15. Click <OK> again.
16. We cannot test the DHCP relay function.

Implementing IPSec

Exercise 1 – Implementing an IPSec Policy

1. At Windows Server 2003 B: Open the Local Security Policy editor from Admin tools.
2. Click the IP Security Policies on Local Computer object in the left pane.
3. Right click the object and choose create IP security policy.
4. Click <next>
5. Enter the description ‘secret key’ and click <next>.
6. Deselect the default rule option and click <next>
7. Click <finish>
8. Click <add>
9. Click <next>
10. Click <next> to the IP tunnel prompt.
11. Choose LAN connections and click <next>.
12. Select all IP traffic and click <next>
13. Choose require security and Click <next>
14. Choose use this string and in the text box, type (in capitals): SECRET

1. At either server, open a command prompt and ping one another from the command prompt.

3. At Windows Server 2003 B: Right click the ‘secret key’ policy in the IP security policy window and choose assign.
4. Attempt to ping one another.

Installing and creating a website using IIS

Exercise 1 – Creating a Web Site

1. At Windows Server 2003: Locate the c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder and create a text file called default.html
2. Edit this file with notepad and type the following text and then save the file: <H1>Win Server 2003 2 Web Site </H1>

Exercise 2 – Enabling NAT

1. At Windows Server 2003 B: Enable NAT just as before, however, this time, enable forwarding for the HTTP protocol to the Windows Server 2003 machine.
2. From admin tools, click the routing and remote access shortcut.
3. Right click your server and choose configure and enable routing and remote access.
4. Click <next>
5. Choose the NAT option.
6. Click <next>
7. Select the public interface from the dialog and click <next>
8. Click <next>
9. Click <next>
10. Click <finish>
11. Routing and Remote Access is started.
12. Expand your server object.
13. Expand the IP routing object and expand NAT/Basic Firewall.
14. Right click public and choose properties.
15. Deselect the basic firewall option.

18. Enter the IP address of the Windows 2003 server in your private network (10.2.0.2) and click <OK> twice.

Exercise 3 – Testing a Web Site

1. At your host operating system: Open a command prompt.
2. Open Internet Explorer.
3. In the address bar, type http://W.X.Y.Z (where this represents the public IP address or Windows Server 2003 B) and press enter.
4. Observe the default website.
5. Open the Tools Internet Option menu.
6. Click the <use current> button.
7. Click <OK>
8. Close Internet Explorer.
